I gave Mike the lyrics to a song I had written for my wife, Nicole, along with an explanation of the emotion, meaning and overall feeling I wanted the song to carry.

What he produced absolutely exceeded my expectations.

This song was incredibly personal to me, with a lot of our history, love and emotion written into the lyrics, so it was important that the production didn’t just sound good, it needed to actually feel like the story I was trying to tell. Mike captured that perfectly.

The way he delivered the vocals, built the music around my lyrics and understood the emotional direction I was aiming for brought the song to life in a way I couldn’t have imagined. When I heard the finished version, it genuinely felt like he had understood exactly what was in my head and heart when I wrote it.

He didn’t simply sing and produce a song, he treated something deeply meaningful to me with care and turned my words into something Nicole and I will be able to keep for the rest of our lives.

I couldn’t be happier with the result and would absolutely recommend Mike to anyone wanting someone who can take their vision, understand the emotion behind it and turn it into something powerful and authentic.

I absolutely love it. It must be hard to try to capture someone else's story and put it into a song. But that is exactly what Mike Walker did.
