From Folkestone, UK comes Rachel Gerrard, a songwriter accomplished in multiple genres. Reflecting influences like Nick Cave, Tori Amos, and Stevie Nicks, her style is rootsy, emotional, and abundant in vocal harmonies, with "a sprinkling of soul and a hint of spice."
Gerrard holds a diploma in Music Performance and a degree in Composition, wherein she learned string and orchestral composition and arranging, music theory, improvisation, songwriting and more. The song was amazing. I loved everything about it, from the tempo to the lyrics. Rachel really captured everything to smallest of details. I was in tears while listening to it and my girlfriend was in a state of chock, she loved it. And yes Rachel, she did say yes!
