Bio:
Justin Reckamp was born and raised in Cary, IL, but currently resides in Chicago. He has traveled all over the country with his band, Mungion, playing in front of crowds as big as 10,000. He received his Bachelors degree in Music Performance & Songwriting from Columbia College. He is currently a full time musician, touring, teaching, and writing songs for anyone that wants to lend an ear! He is most inspired by artists like Tyler Childers, Leon Bridges, The Wood Brothers, Bob Marley and Jim Croce.

Not sure what I was expecting, but I was hoping this song would capture my true feelings which I find very difficult to express face to face. Justin was able to far exceed everything. When I played the song he created she looked at me with tears in her eyes -
I asked her if she liked it and she said it sounds like something you would say to me. I said it is....I showed her the lyrics and
played it again and she sobbed saying it was the best thing anyone had ever done for her. I don’t presume to know much, but I know this an incredible vehicle for those who have a lot in their hearts but can’t quite say it the way you want it to come out.
I am already working on more songs to each of my kids.
