Bio:
Ellen is one of the original founders of Songlorious. After learning guitar at the age of 12, she found a passion for punk and alternative music. By 16, Ellen created the soundtrack for a documentary film about 1970s punk band the Clash, and began writing and recording music on her computer with friends.
In 2019, Ellen moved to Brooklyn, where she met her future husband (Omayya Atout) online. They had the intent of collaborating on music. The two briefly formed a band before starting Songlorious, launching the company Father's Day 2020. Ellen and Songlorious have since appeared on many national television shows (The Today Show, Shark Tank) and publications (Forbes, New York Times, Business Insider).
Ellen is excited to use her passion for music for others. She hopes to to help them connect with loved ones and preserve cherished memories.
