From Calgary, Alberta comes singer-songwriter Danielle Dayton. Citing influences like Brandi Carlille, Elle King, and KT Tunstall, Danielle creates a soothing musical style that she describes as "soulful folk meets blues rock." Her music has received commercial, satellite, internet and college radio play. Her newest single, "I Can't Lose You," secured funding from Alberta Music to commission a remix by OBLVYN - an electronic artist and DJ signed to Monstercat. In the live music scene, Danielle completed a cross-Canada tour in 2019, travelling from Vancouver Island to Toronto playing shows.
About being a Songlorious artist, Danielle says, "I want to work with customers to capture their stories and memories in a medium that will last forever and can be shared with loved ones through the years. When I complete a song and hear it or play it all the way through for the first time, my heart is on fire in the best possible way. My hope is that people will hear their song for the first time and feel it too. Often people will listen to their favourite song and relate parts of it to their own story, but now they will have a song that is undeniably theirs."
