Alyx Bell is a Portland, Oregon musician, who enjoys playing at venues such as The Goodfoot (where she opened for More Fatter), Kelly's Olympian (opening for Erin O'Neill) and Mississippi Pizza. Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Alyx's musical style combines elements of jazz, soul, and folk, she says, "to celebrate the curiosities and musings of love, life, and loss." Her work is often compared to Norah Jones, Sade, and Joni Mitchell.

She incorporated all of the aspects that I listed about him and created a fun, sweet, and touching song. We were all crying when we listened to it for the first time. I absolutely love the song that was created for my daughter. When she listened to it for the first time, her rues widened as she realized it was about her. The major events were captured and we both cried at the same time. I am curious if I can add another minute to have singer add how my other daughter (and Lisa’s sister) Tina died and how Lisa took over and made a beautiful funeral and is helping raise Tomas 10 year old son, Ezekiel. Thank you.
