Maria is a singer/ songwriter who plays guitar. Originally a UK native who relocated to New Jersey, her father hailing from New York and mother from the UK, Maria obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science at Lancaster University, UK and was awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music when she was 15. Maria started her music career as a songwriter with Peer Music Publishing.

She enjoys writing and creating music, says she has been "blessed" with prior publishing deals, to be able to do what she loves professionally. Maria has had releases on Sony Music, and performed in Musicals off Broadway and the West End.

About being a Songlorious artist, Maria says, "I love writing songs and preserving memories, putting a picture frame around a feeling you once had. Using a feeling, emotion and nostalgia as inspiration to create something special."
