Based in Covington, KY, Charlie John creates Modern Pop and Acoustic Pop "with hints of funk (if you'd like)," similar to influences like Andy Grammer, Ben Rector, and John Mayer.

When Charlie lived in Ohio, he won 3 Ohio Music Awards for his original music. He says, "I learned everything I know about songwriting and music from my parents, whom I still write music with. I locked myself in my room when I was 18 with an acoustic guitar and didn't come out until I figured it out."

About being a Songlorious artist, Charlie says, "I like writing music for customers because its an interesting way to connect with other people and give them something that they will hold on to."
